This weekend has been seasonally cool and the week ahead looks seasonal as well, lots of rain forecast, clouds etc so this weekend was a good transplant weekend. Donna helped a lot. She planted all the ornamental peppers and even some geraniums.
Saturday, I found aphids and cicada’s had come out so I sprayed the tomato plants with fungicide and soapy water. We’re expecting the rain to come around 1pm today so hopefully I’ll kill all the aphids. I was able to let Butterball out today and he enjoyed roaming around the yard and slept for awhile in the greenhouse. I was a little concerned with the heat in the greenhouse taking a toll on the old man, so I brought him in.
